China

Our big day is Tuesday, August 14, 2012.  We start our China adventure early in the morning.  We will arrive in Beijing on Wednesday at about 10:30 a.m. China time.   We have very mixed emotions about our adventure.  We are excited to be finally going to Tianjin but we are worried about the unknown and the trials we will face.  We will be in China for 90 days returning on November 13, 2012.

Tianjin is a small, by China standards, city of 10 million people about 60 miles south east of Tianjin.  It is close to the ocean and therefore very damp.  We will be staying in the First Teaching Hospital of Tianjin.  We are privileged to be part of an exceptional treatment program developed by Dr. Shi Xue Min especially for stroke patients.  Ash was fortunate to have met and been treated by Dr. Shi and Dr. Bian in Scottsdale last November for six weeks. Stay tuned for up dates!

Endless Melody

 Endless Melody, by Clarensau

What am I doing here?
(Where are we going?)
I thought it'd be different now
(I thought it'd be better)

But I don't feel anything
And that is what scares me
While my world is falling
And my fears snow-balling,
I can't move

This isn't what we promised,
It's not how it's supposed to be
This is what we made it
Oh, this is what we made it;
I can't move
(This isn't what we promised)
I can't move
(It's not how it's supposed to be)
Oh, I can't move
(This is what we made it)
Oh, this is what we made it;
I can't move
This isn't what we promised
It's not how it's supposed to be
This is what we made it
Oh, this is what we made it;
I can't move
(I'm stuck inside this endless melody)
